Scan a garage invoice and have the job, the date, the mileage and the cost stored in the app.
The document is kept as well, filed against the job as a digital copy. That is what turns an entry from your word for it into proof the work was actually done, and it is still there long after the paper has gone missing.
The whole picture
A quick look at the history graph gives you the full story of the car, providing insights into the condition of the car at a glance. Keep your graphs happy, keep the car valuable. Patterns speak louder than individual recent jobs.
When you come to sell your car, one look at full green graphs will do the talking for you.
Buying and selling
Hand all of the information to the buyer when you sell: every job, every receipt, every MOT. Anyone can say a car has been looked after — arriving with the evidence already assembled is a different conversation, and it is worth money.
Buying works the same way in reverse. Claim the car and its history comes with it, so you start owning it knowing what has been done rather than guessing from a folder of receipts.
Insurance and tax stay with you. A policy belongs to the person rather than the vehicle, and road tax is cancelled and refunded the moment a car is sold — so your premiums, claims and renewal costs never reach the buyer.
What it does today
Services, repairs, tyres, mods, MOT, insurance and tax all land in the same timeline, newest first, with what was done and what it cost.
Intervals are set in months or miles for each serviceable item, so the oil, the brake fluid and the cam belt each track on their own clock.
MOT, insurance and tax get a reminder ahead of their renewal date, and services warn you as they come up — while you can still book something.
Once a month the app asks for the current mileage, then recalculates what is close, what is due and what has quietly gone past.
The daily driver, the project in the garage, whatever else is on the drive. Each keeps its own history, mileage and schedule.
Records are tied to your account and enforced in the database, not just hidden in the interface. Nothing is shared unless you share it.
